We have a rich history

Our first cabin was built on a driveway in spring 1979, and since then, we have grown and developed our product offering and business alike. Today, we produce a whole range of portable units from our purpose-built factory at Tweedale Way, Oldham.

The company was founded by Frank Rothwell, who is still involved in the business today. His two children - Luke and Su - both play leading roles in the continued developed and day-to-day running of the company. They are also supported by several cousins who bring a wealth of experience from other sectors, ensuring Bunkabin’s offering continues to push forward in a highly competitive market.

Our high quality, robust units are built in our own factory in Oldham, Manchester. We continually strive to improve our offerings based on the latest developments in the industry and the feedback we receive from our customers and our site fitters, who have first-hand experience of installing the units and have a clear idea of what people really want.

We cover the whole of Great Britain thanks to our two depots in Oldham and Dunstable and our fleet of state-of-the-art ‘Euro 6’ HGVs with HIAB lorry loaders. These are packed with the latest technology to give highly accurate estimated times of arrival and ensure deliveries are as efficient as possible. We have the largest sleeper fleet in Great Britain, with currently more than 2,000 sleeper units as well more than 200 diners, toilet blocks and shower blocks ready to go.
