As dramatic as this sounds, Bunkabin was originally conceived as a way to save the lives of construction workers - too many of whom die each year from sleeping in ill-equipped site units and being overcome by carbon monoxide poisoning.
As a manufacturer of portable buildings, we sat down and came up with a unit that provides better insulation, has an en-suite bathroom and the ability to withstand being bashed about. At the end of this process, we had created Bunkabin’s first ever sleeper unit - the Original Sleeper.
