Toilet Block

Nobody wants to use cold and dirty toilets while they’re working; our Toilet Block from Bunkabin is a perfect solution, providing somewhere clean, warm and tidy to do your business.

The Toilet Block, also known as a two-plus-one because of its layout, has two toilets and two urinals on one side, and a separate toilet on the other. It is a new and improved design, boasting an array of features and sits along our Junior range of sleepers and diners to provide a complete package.

It is also part of the Junior family of units - along with the Junior Deluxe Sleeper and Junior Diner.

To find out more about the junior Toilet Block, get in touch with us today by calling 0345 456 7899, hitting the ‘Get a Quick Quote’ button or filling in the contact form and we will get back to you.

Why choose the Toilet Block?

The Toilet Block offers a bright and inviting space to workers and visitors with two separate bathrooms. One side, used for males, has two waterless urinals and two toilet cubicles with three sinks, large mirrors and a hand dryer, while the other side, which can be used by any gender, has a single toilet with a basin, mirror and hand dryer.

The portable toilets feature soft close seats and dual flush buttons, while the waterless urinals reduce odours that can occur from use. There is also a board installed that can be fitted with a paper towel dispenser should you wish.

The external appearance of the portable toilet unit matches our other units to ensure a smart, uniform appearance across your site.

The unit comes complete with:

Furniture (Male)

Two toilets, two waterless urinals, three large basins, a hand dryer and three large mounted mirrors.

Furniture (Female)

One toilet, one large basin, a hand dryer and a large mounted mirror.

One 2ft tubular heater within each area.

Vinyl flooring.

Do we need planning permission?

Cabins sited for more than 28 days may require planning permission. However, they are a portable structure and we advise that you speak to your local planning office before placing an order. It is the hirer’s responsibility to organise any required planning permission.

Can units double stack?
Our units are physically capable of being double stacked. However, building regulations require a six-metre gap between double-stacked units and adjacent buildings. This means there is no real space saved by double stacking. Many other issues restrict double stacking, but this is the main one.

Is insurance included in the hire rate?

Insurance is not included in the hire rate. As part of our standard terms and conditions, it is the hirer’s responsibility to arrange insurance at 200 times the weekly hire rate.

Will I get charged for cleaning?

Our guiding principle is to ‘treat customers how we would want to be treated’. The hire industry has gained a reputation for dishing out end-of-hire cleaning/damage charges. Often, these charges are routinely generated to make up for unsuitably low-hire rates. We are different. We don’t expect the unit to come back spotless and understand there will be some wear and tear. We will charge for damage but we’re sure you’ll agree that is only fair.

What power supply do I need?

The Toilet Block has a 240V 32A Ceeform 2P+E Blue Plug.

Will they run off a generator?

Yes, all of our units can run off a generator.

What is the drainage connection?

The Toilet Block has a 110mm waste outlet at the rear of the unit. Waste outlets can be connected to a push-fit type connection and fed into either the main sewage drains or our waste tanks.

Can the delivery vehicle run on grass?

Under no circumstances should a wagon drive over grass, Murphy’s Law states that if the ground is hard during delivery it will be a muddy bog when the unit needs to be collected. Any wasted journeys will be charged at full rate.

Do we need steps?

Unless you’re using one of our waste tasks, steps will not need to be used. If steps are required, we can supply you with a suitable set, or you are welcome to use/build your own.

Are they available for sale?

We are solely a hire company. We manufacture all of our units at our purpose-built factory. When the units come to the end of their life we recycle them.

What is the minimum hire period?

You can have units for one day, if you wish; however, we have a minimum charge that would cover a four-week hire. This charge covers the costs of cleaning and testing the unit is ready to be used again.

How much notice for delivery?

We can usually deliver within a week’s notice but will always try and do better. During certain times of the year (for example, festival season), we are very busy and may run out of units.

Our family-run business has unrivaled experience and more than 27 years of expertise in providing portable sleeping and welfare accommodation to many businesses and organisations. We know when projects that rely on portable units arise require speed and efficiency in delivery, and we can deliver very large quantities in a short space of time.

All Bunkabin units are built in Great Britain, manufactured in our purpose-built factory in Oldham, and we always treat customers the way we would want to be treated by making the hiring process as simple and straightforward as possible.

If things should go wrong, we will find a solution as quickly as possible, and 99% of the time, you will see a site fitter within the next working day.
