Renewable Energy Investment Map: The UK’s Biggest Upcoming Projects
As the renewable energy industry continues to grow in order to reach the UK’s renewable targets, we wanted to look at which areas are seeing the biggest level of investment, as well as areas with potential for future investment. Our interactive map displays upcoming renewable projects across the UK, including wind farm, solar and biomass plant projects.
Key findings
- Scotland has the highest level of renewable energy investment based on both existing and upcoming energy projects.
- Wales could see an improved level of investment in order to reach its target to produce twice the amount of electricity it currently uses from renewable sources by 2025
